Livin' in High Cotton

What a GREAT weekend......so sorry to see it come to an end.
Saturday morning the kiddos and I + Angel (Alyson's friend) headed to the agricenter for the flea market.  I have not been in some time...say 2 years or say.....it is hard to do with a 3 yr old....but he, and all the kids were really great.  We got some t-shirts, mixes for tortilla soup and a yummy sweet dip Peyton fell in love with.....oh, and The Coop bought himself some tennis balls.  I don't know what his obsession with tennis balls is, but he was hunting for one the other day with no luck.  So when he spotted them at a booth for $1 he was estatic.  He was a big boy and handed the lady his money all by himself :)   Later after we were home he was walking with the girls and he was telling a neighbor (who I have known FOREVER) about his tennis balls, so Mr. Hester goes in the garage and gives him a tennis racket.  Guess what Coop's been doing all weekend? And I love my neighborhood.  The kids have friends to hang out with....and I don't worry about them, because someone is always looking out for them.  I am BLESSED!!!!!
Today I got my wish: PICTURE TAKING!!!!  YAY!!  They did not turn out as well as I would have hoped, but the cotton is not being helpful this year....it just looks strange.  But here's what I did get...hope you enjoy!!

My babies

Little boys and dirt roads= :)

After the pictures, it was mandatory I go to Memphis...again.  So the girls and I loaded up, with Grandmommy in tow this time and off we went.  Made a stop at Michaels to get some felt for Mom's new creation for Peyton's "non-bows" and I picked up a few things to craft with.  Then to Sam's Club.  Where Peyton goes to school (St. Michael's) we take turns sending snacks for the kids.  This works out really well I think because #1 I only have to think of snacks every 11th week #2 Everyone has the same thing everyday.
This week is Peyton's turn so we picked out 5 days worth.  Hope all the kiddies enjoy :)
After that we made a run by Starbucks.  I had to have a Pumpkin Spice Latte....tis the season.  I guess it's good we don't have one on this side of the water....or it could be bad because I will use lots of gas crossing the Mighty Mississippi.
The rest of the afternoon, the kids headed outside to be with their friends.  A nice day....a nice weekend.
Here's to a great week everyone.....be BLESSED!!!!
